Force of Will

Force of Will wasn’t painted to be polite, it is about momentum—the moment you decide you’re not done yet.  —  I paint horses because they don’t stall in fear. They move. They push. They carry power forward even when the ground is rough. This painting came from a season of resistance and resolve. Seven years of standing up. Of choosing clarity over collapse. Of letting the body remember what the mind almost forgot: how to keep going.
